The current rise of China is evident in all aspects of international politics, which allows us to think that it is the rebirth of a power that had at a time of break in its power and global influence, this due to the so-called century of shame or century of humiliation. China's influence will recover at the end of the 20th century with the growing process of its global influence in the contemporary world. This return of China's leadership to the power board in the international system can be analyzed from the construction of a strategy based on soft power and the power boards proposed by academic referents such as Joseph Nye.
It is thanks to these new dynamics of influence and renewal of international relations based on an economic and commercial strategy, that the Chinese progress with the peripheral countries of the rest of the world can currently be analyzed. Its soft power strategy also includes generating rapprochements with world powers in order to promote a new boom or, also called, a resurgence of an old cultural, technological and military hegemony that, only a century ago, it had lost, but now consolidates itself as a leader in international geopolitics.
The objective of this article is to reflect on the resurgence of the eastern dragon, an analysis focused on understanding the national strategy implemented after the so-called century of humiliation (1839-1949), highlighting in this the narrative influence for the construction of a political leadership marked by the influences of the reforms of Deng Xiaoping until the current government of Xi Jinping. Finally, it is evident that the consolidation of China responds to a power strategy that seeks to consolidate a hegemonic and influential nation in the global market.
