Abstract

A professional with over 25 years of experience in risk management, privacy, cybersecurity, information security, and industrial control systems, he has been a consultant, speaker, and professor nationally and internationally. He led the development of cybersecurity regulations and guidelines for the Colombian electricity sector and actively contributes to the protection of critical infrastructure in Colombia. He is the author, co-author, and reviewer of numerous specialized publications. He has received important recognitions, including two (ISC)² Americas Information Security Leadership Awards in the Senior Information Security Professional category. He was also recognized as Outstanding Young Person of Antioquia and Colombia in technological development by Junior Chamber International (JCI) and honored by the Colombian National Police for his educational work in cybersecurity.
